Yarradale Stud signed off Tuesday’s Ascot card with a late double courtesy of emphatic winners Aconite (Discorsi) and Express Time (War Chant).

Valour Road and Chloe Azzopardi stole a winning break on their more fancied rivals to land the G3 Prince Of Wales Stakes (1000m) at Ascot on Saturday.

Yarradale Stud claimed the feature race of the Avon Valley season on Sunday when Dance Music ran out an easy winner of the LR Northam Cup (1600m).

Powerful’s family has been a regular source of winners for Yarradale Stud over the best part 30 years.

Shaun McGruddy had to revert to Plan B when Chantorque missed the start of the Crown Towers Hcp (1000m) on Saturday.
